I’ve spent a couple of decades working with schools, charities and large organisations, supporting resilient mental health, positive behaviour change and healthy living choices.

The experience of giving all kinds of people – young and old – the tools to flourish has fed into a training practice that really is my life’s passion: helping you to calm, thrive and serve.

Catching the spark is designed to calm your nervous system, draw out what you need to thrive, then discover how to use this energy to best serve you and your community.

We live in a time of unprecedented change and overstimulation. Being able to consciously reduce your stress response is going to be a superpower in the years to come. I teach a practical toolkit of techniques and somatic practices that empower you to physiologically calm yourself. I draw from an eclectic mix of disciplines all supported by the latest scientific research.

Moving from reactivity to regulation we progress onto the training and coaching that concentrates on what you need to thrive. From a place of safety and self reflection, it is possible to identify what gives you purpose and meaning by aligning with your values and talents. We investigate improving metabolic, immune and brain health with the goal of greater vitality and longevity.

The final stage of Catching the Spark training asks a simple question: how can you be of service? This pivot to being outward and forward focused is what creates positive change in yourself and the world. Learning to serve means using your specific gifts to unleash your energy, leadership and relational skills in the pursuit of something bigger than yourself.

I’ll meet you where you are on your journey and bring years of wide-ranging practical experience, sensitivity and a deep commitment to helping you guide yourself. Here are some recent testimonials from people just like you who have experienced my training programmes.

I’ve extensive training and teaching from around the world in improving mindset and physiology – from movement practices Qi Gong and Yoga, to mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, psychology, anthropology, sound and energy work, heat contrast therapy, plus facilitating Men’s groups.

We’ll work in partnership as ‘curious scientists’ studying you. We’ll strategically plan for your defined goals whilst simultaneously relaxing your nervous system so intuition, creativity and collaboration can help you achieve them.

I’ll use an approach that bridges the gap between the latest neuroscience research on living optimally, and the soulful teachings on transformation from the ancient wisdom traditions – speaking the language of body, mind and spirit.

In a series of imaginative and sensory exercises, I’ll assist you with building a solid foundation of self-awareness, internal validation and emotional intelligence in order to create a stronger and more caring relationship with yourself and others.

Together we’ll experiment with a diverse set of somatic practices so you develop a personalised toolkit of techniques that orientate you towards being intrinsically motivated – and have a whole lot of fun connecting with what brings you genuine joy!

I went to university in America and have studied the culture and wellbeing practices in China, Ghana, Rarotonga, Italy and Mexico. I’ve worked in New Zealand and Brighton and am now living with my family back in beautiful Bath where I grew up.
