I’ve spent a couple of decades working across educational settings, charities, the NHS and other large organisations, supporting resilient mental health, positive behaviour change and healthy living choices.

The experience of giving people of all ages the tools to flourish has fuelled a wellbeing training and coaching practice that optimises your health span and zest for life by helping you to calm, thrive and serve.

Catching the spark is designed to calm your nervous system, draw out what you need to thrive, then discover how to use this energy to best serve you and your community.

We live in a time of unprecedented change and overstimulation. This leads many of us to experience compromised states of fatigue, distraction or overwhelm. Being able to consciously calm your stress response is going to be a superpower that will set you apart in the years to come. The training courses I offer empower you with a practical toolkit of somatic practices that physiologically regulate your system. I draw from an eclectic mix of disciplines to create a holistic, achievable and common sense approach to increasing your wellbeing and longevity – all supported by the latest scientific research.

Moving from dysregulated reactivity to grounded awareness, we identify what gives you purpose and meaning in order to align your habits and decisions with your values and talents. We investigate improving metabolic, immune and brain health, all with the goal of greater motivation, vitality and life satisfaction. The final stage of Catching the Spark training asks a simple question: how can you be of service? Learning to serve means using your specific gifts to unleash your drive and leadership skills in the pursuit of something bigger than yourself.

If you were to truly believe in your unique potential, what would you be called to do? Let’s find out together.

Here’s what you canexpect from me…

I’ll meet you where you are on your journey and bring years of wide-ranging practical experience. I’ll bring sensitivity and a deep commitment to helping you guide yourself from chronic stress to a more intentional and energised life. Here are some recent testimonials from people just like you who have experienced my life changing training programmes.

I’ve extensive training and teaching from around the world in improving mindset and physiology – from movement practices Qi Gong and Yoga, to mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, psychology, biology, anthropology, nutrition, sleep science, sound and energy work, heat contrast therapy, as well as years of facilitating men’s groups and leading wellbeing nature retreats.

We’ll work in partnership as ‘curious scientists’ studying you. We’ll strategically plan for your defined goals whilst simultaneously relaxing your nervous system so intuition, creativity and collaboration can help you achieve them.

I’ll use an approach that bridges the gap between the latest neuroscience research on living optimally, and the soulful teachings on transformation from the ancient wisdom traditions – speaking the language of body, mind and spirit. The core teachings of my wellbeing programmes are built on my many years as a mindfulness and movement practitioner, mental health mentor, as well as being an experienced certified coach with a track record of facilitating positive behaviour change.

I’ll assist you with building a solid foundation of self awareness, internal validation and emotional intelligence in order to create a stronger and more caring relationship with yourself and others whilst reducing burn out, anxiety and depression. You will design a balanced and bespoke wellbeing strategy based on a strong understanding of our biological processes with a particular focus on cortisol, oxytocin, dopamine, endorphins and serotonin.

Together we’ll experiment with a diverse set of somatic practices so you develop daily routines that increase your attention span and orientate you towards being intrinsically motivated – all whilst having a whole lot of fun connecting with what brings you genuine passion and joy!

I went to university in America and have studied the culture and wellbeing practices in China, Ghana, Rarotonga, Italy and Mexico. I’ve worked in New Zealand and Brighton and am now living with my family back in beautiful Bath where I grew up.
